About VanderCook College of Music
VanderCook College of Music, founded in 1909, is a private, liberal arts college specializing in music education. A long-time companion of Illinois Tech and predecessor Armour Institute of Technology, VanderCook students live, eat, and play on Main Campus alongside Illinois Tech students. Students from each school can take courses at the other, and Illinois Tech students often participate in ensembles and performance groups at VanderCook
