Ideas, Welcome to Reality

Dane Christianson

Dane Christianson is a budding inventor and entrepreneur. He developed the idea for his X-Cube twisty puzzle while he was a student at Illinois Tech. Using high-tech tools in our Idea Shop, he fabricated the X-Cube’s 52 moving parts and took his product to market.

After 1.6 million views on YouTube (in its first month) and a successful Kickstarter campaign, the X-Cube is now available nationwide in Marbles: The Brain Store and soon Barnes & Noble.

“Illinois Tech was the launchpad for my success.”
