Some of the most famous buildings in the world, designed by legendary architects, are located on Illinois Tech’s Mies Campus in Chicago. S. R. Crown Hall, an elegant steel-and-glass National Historic Landmark, is a marvel of engineering and simplicity by former Illinois Tech professor and head of architecture Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Elevated trains run through the Rem Koolhaas-designed McCormick Tribune Campus Center. And Helmut Jahn’s State Street Village is one of the on-campus places to live.

Greek organizations have been an important part of the Illinois Tech educational experience campus for more than 100 years—and joining a fraternity or sorority remains a popular option for both men and women. International Student Center and Study Abroad
The International Center provides professional support, services, and resources to the Illinois Tech community in matters related to international education and cultural exchange by supporting international students, faculty, staff, and students studying abroad, and by assisting in the compliance of immigration and other related regulations.
