Illinois Tech is a community that is rich in diversity of backgrounds and experiences. With an undergraduate population of almost 20% international students from 93 different countries, we embrace the differences that our diverse population brings onto our campus and in the classroom, and emphasize the importance of building a community.
Our International Center provides support for incoming international students throughout the immigration process, offers study abroad opportunities, and hosts cross-cultural events throughout the school year.

Student Center for Diversity and Inclusion
Our Committee on Community, Inclusion, and Diversity focuses on initiatives that fosters inclusion throughout the Illinois Tech community. A few key initiatives they are currently working on include gender neutral restrooms, supported education for students with psychiatric disabilities, and an undocumented students working group.
